090° THE HOOK

A rescue swimmer with nothing to prove but everything to earn.

Colt Harmon grew up learning that character isn't inherited — it's built one true decision at a time, on a Wyoming cattle ranch where his father's only real lesson was simple: you don't fight the thing that can drown you, you just keep doing the next true thing until you're through it.

At nineteen, Colt trades the ranch for the Navy, chasing a slot most men wash out of before they ever earn it: Search and Rescue aircrew. Through the dunker, the pool, and a pipeline built to break the unprepared, Colt discovers a competence in himself he never knew he had — and a rival in Trent Ashford, a senator's son who's spent his whole life mistaking performance for the real thing.

In a wadi outside the front lines, with his crew down and a downed pilot's life on the line, Colt has seconds to become the man three years of training was supposed to make him.

What follows will cost him more than he ever expected to give — and it's only the beginning. Due North: The Rescue is the origin story of a hero who earns every inch of who he becomes, and the first book in a five-part series that follows Colt Harmon from a Navy rescue swimmer to the halls of power.

180° THE SERIES

One long story, told across five books.

Due North isn't a rescue thriller that happens to have sequels. It's one continuous journey — training, combat, service, and the harder missions that come after the uniform.
